This dinner is built around the concept of "bloom where you're planted." Chef Adam Diltz has made Elwood a celebration of the cuisine of Pennsylvania - from historically significant dishes from Pennsylvania's past to inventive and elevated versions of rustic Pennsylvania dishes. His food is the epitome of "eat like you live here" and diners and critics alike have been eager to discover our state's culinary traditions through this restaurant.
Ploughman Cider was founded to provide beverage enthusiasts a sense of place as well - the place where the apples are grown. Born out of Three Springs Fruit Farm's trips to Philadelphia's Headhouse Farmers Market in Old City, Ploughman has tried to honor the unique microclimate of the Adams County and the South Mountain region. Now in seven generations of farm stewardship, the deep, well-drained soils of this agricultural breadbasket provide the nuance and character found in Ploughman Cider. Their selection of dry ciders honor the soil under the trees and accompany the food on the plate in a natural and effortless way.
