Cider School w/Historian Mark Turdo, PCW Founder Amy Hartranft & Ploughman Cider @ Middle Child Clubhouse

  • Middle Child Clubhouse 1232 North Front Street Philadelphia, PA, 19122 United States (map)

School is in session! Wonder why some consumers think all cider is sweet? Not sure about how to frame cider on your beverage menu? Curious about the future of cider in restaurants and bars? We'll answer these questions and more! Cider Historian, Mark Turdo, and Philly Cider Week Founder, Amy Hartranft dig into the past, present, and future of American Cider culture. We'll discuss not only the history of cider, but contextualize American cider culture and how it effects buying decisions in the Philadelphia market and abroad. We'll be sampling and giving out free pours of Ploughman Cider for those in attendance!

NOTE: This event and discussions are geared specifically toward beverage professionals, but all are welcome.

Also of note: Middle Child Clubhouse is closed on Mondays thus there will not be food available for purchase from the restaurant.
